AAA T.L.C was founded when Jody Sherman wanted to ensure her parents had the comforts of home when they became too ill to care for themselves. She didn’t want to put them in a nursing home but didn’t know how to get them the care they needed to live well. She decided to hire her own caregivers and had them trained to take care of her parents’ complicated conditions. Their doctors were so impressed with how well Jody’s parents were doing and asked if she could help other families.

Now, 30 years later, with her son John by her side, AAA T.L.C is Southern California’s most trusted home care agency & nursing registry.

Services Included With Our Home Care

Short-Term and Transitional Care

Short-term home care services can last a few days or a couple months while an individual recovers from an illness, injury, surgery, or when returning from the hospital.

Long-Term Care

Long-term in-home care services is an option for those who are disabled or living with chronic, or progressive conditions, such as Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s. 27/7 live-in care available.

Personal Care

This service is for those who require assistance managing daily tasks such as dressing, grooming, hygiene, bathing, mobility and more. Personal care can be combined with other AAA T.L.C services.

Care for All Ages

AAA T.L.C. provides comprehensive services for people of any age, from newborns to those in hospice. 24/7 live-in care available on a long-term or short-term basis.

Companionship

AAA T.L.C. caregivers are able to provide compassionate and caring emotional support. Companions make regular visits, which may vary in frequency depending on the client’s unique social needs.

Transportation Services

AAA T.L.C. caregivers can provide transportation with Home Care services, such driving clients to appointments, as well as drop off and pick-up services to social activities and visits with family or friends.

Light Housekeeping

This can include dusting, sweeping, taking out the trash, laundry, and more. Housekeeping can help address safety issues like switching light bulbs and ensuring smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are functioning.

Meal Preparation

AAA T.L.C. caregivers can help plan and create meals that match specific dietary needs and food preferences to ensure optimal nutrition and enjoyment. Meals can be customized.

Respite Care

AAA T.L.C. provides short-term relief for primary caregivers and families. Respite care can be arranged for just an afternoon or for several days or weeks based on a caregiver’s needs.

Care and Case Management

AAA T.L.C. establishes and maintains close communication with doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies, as well as family to ensure care is coordinated and efficient.

Holistic Family Care

From a spouse to pets, the entire family can benefit from AAA T.L.C. in-home care services. Family services are customized to each client’s unique circumstance.

Errand Services

AAA T.L.C caregivers can run errands, such as grocery shopping, or post office drop-off and pick-up, so clients can use their time and energy on activities they enjoy.
